Welcome From the Principal

In the face of our nation’s ongoing economic challenges, many Americans find that they must reassess their financial priorities. Among them are Christian parents like yourselves with school-age children. Perhaps you are drawn to the idea of private Christian education but wonder whether it is worth the sacrifice that would be required of your family.

Since Bethesda Christian School’s founding in 1980, parents have chosen BCS for their children in the belief that the return on their investment in Christian education is worth the sacrifice. My husband and I made that decision for our own family, and the decision is one that we have never regretted. Bethesda’s steadfast commitment throughout its history has been to develop Christ-like character in our students and equip them for service through high quality, college-preparatory academics.  The generous financial support of our parent ministry, Bethesda Community Church, allows us to provide our strong academic program—and to offer it at one of the most affordable rates in the DFW Metroplex.

We count it a privilege that you are considering BCS for your child’s education. Our heart is that your home, your church and BCS form a three-stranded cord that is not easily broken (Eccl. 4:12)—one that provides a consistent transmission of values, which is so crucial to the formation of Christian faith and godly character in our young people.

Please visit the BCS website and walk with us through the halls of our school to learn more about us. Most importantly, I urge your family to seek the Lord’s direction and pray whether Bethesda Christian School is right for your family. May God give you His wisdom as you make this important decision.

From the heart,

Vicki Vaughn, M.Ed.
