In 2000-2001, the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Regional Directors identified schools with exemplary programs that go beyond the typical classroom instructional experience by providing exceptional learning experiences for students.  Often these programs provide benefits to the local or extended community.

The exemplary school programs are examples of what can be accomplished through a combination of vision, creativity, empowerment and ambition.  Bethesda's Six Wings Program was one of three programs selected in the state of Texas as an Exemplary Program.
