Christ's example of service has endured for over 2,000 years.  Indeed, the Christian life is all about serving others, and Bethesda Christian School highlights this aspect of the commitment with mission outreach programs that have earned international recognition.  That's because a fundamental part of the BCS education is to instill in young people the value of service.  The world can be impressed by intelligence and heartened by integrity, but the eye-opening awareness when an individual displays a willingness to serve...it captures the heart in such a unique and purposeful way.  No surprise there:  The Lord emphasized service for this very reason.  The well-rounded Christian education is sealed when the student develops a joy in humility and a willingness to serve others.
