Athletic Booster Club

The Bethesda Christian School Athletic Booster Club exists to promote the athletic program, build school spirit and raise funds to build the Bethesda Christian School Athletic Program into a top-tier athletic program.
  • Work to build school spirit within the BCS family of students, parents and faculty
  • Work to build awareness of the athletic program within the BCS parent body
  • Raise capital funding for the BCS athletic program
  • Facilitate BCS-sponsored athletic tournaments
  • Work to build an environment that encourages student involvement and parental support of athletics
  • Support the BCS coaching staff
  • Govern BCS athletics
  • Raise funding for operational items such as uniforms or referee/umpire fees
  • Meet on the second Monday of each month to complete club business
  • Sponsor the hospitality room for BCS tournaments, such as the BCS Basketball Classic in November
  • Supply concessions for the concession stand (staffed by team parents)
  • Sponsor and execute BCS athletic fundraisers
  • Host the BCS high school Blue/Gold Athletic Banquet
  • Organize Spirit Nights at athletic events (cook-outs, Pizza Night, Taco Tuesday)
  • Attend games and support our student athletes and coaches
  • Pray for our athletic program and for our student athletes to do their best while glorifying God
  • Meetings – join us at 6:30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month to plan and execute Booster Club business
  • Concessions – help us coordinate the BCS concession stand for athletic events
  • Fundraising – assist us in raising money for our athletic program
  • Spirit Nights – help us promote BCS athletics through fun events at athletic competitions
  • Raised $20,000 to support the opening of the BCS workout room
  • Raised $20,000 to support the locker room redesign
  • Yearly sponsorship of two $1,000 scholarships for college-bound BCS athletes (one male and one female) based upon athletic achievement, leadership in athletics, character and recommendations
  • Purchased a batting cage for the baseball team
  • Made improvements to the baseball and soccer fields
  • Yearly sponsorship of  the Blue/Gold Athletic Banquet – a year-end event celebrating the achievements of our teams and individual athletes
  • Ongoing support of BCS athletic teams through Spirit Nights and contests designed to build spirit and bring fans to the games (cook-outs, Pizza Night, Taco Tuesday)
