From the Principal
When I first visited Bethesda Christian School in 1984, my husband and I were prayerfully considering whether we should entrust our most precious possessions - our two young sons - to a Christian school.
We longed for a Christian environment for our boys, a school that reinforced in the classroom the same values we taught at home. Equally important to us was a challenging academic program, one that stretched our sons and enabled them to discover their potential. After thoroughly investigating the school and after much prayer, my husband and I enrolled our sons at BCS. We can truthfully say that we have never regretted that decision. The financial sacrifices we made for our sons’ educations were worth every penny we paid, and more.
Now a K-12 school celebrating its 30th anniversary, Bethesda’s core values have remained steadfast since its inception. Our heart is that your home, your church and BCS form a three-strand cord that is not easily broken (Eccl. 4:12)—one that provides a consistent transmission of values, which is so crucial to the formation of Christian faith and godly character in our young people.
As a parent, you undoubtedly desire the best education you can provide for your children, both spiritually and academically. Our staff counts it a privilege that you would consider entrusting your most precious possessions to our care.
I encourage you to visit the BCS website and walk with us through the halls of our school to learn more about us. Most importantly, I urge your family to seek the Lord’s direction and pray whether Bethesda Christian School is right for your family. May God give you His wisdom as you make this important decision.
From the heart,
Vicki Vaughn, M.Ed.
