Before and after-school student programs serve BCS parents by providing supervision for their children outside of school hours. The school provides free supervision before school from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. For the safety of our students, BCS requires that students who arrive on-campus prior to 7:30 a.m. — or remain on-campus after dismissal — be enrolled in one of the following options (or be a participant in a school-sponsored activity).
A.C.E. AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM (After-hours Connections and Enrichment)
After-hours Connections and Enrichment (better known as A.C.E.) is a program offered through Bethesda Christian School. A.C.E. is held on regular school days from 3:30-5:30, Monday through Friday. A.C.E. is not held on half-days.
A student who is picked up late from school will be sent to A.C.E., which is held in the cafeteria. The student may participate on a full-time, part-time, or as-needed basis. Children in grades K-6 have the opportunity to participate in enrichment activities, including arts and crafts and life application devotionals. A time for students to work on homework is also given.
Students in grades 7-12 have a study station which will provide them with access to school books and supplies, as well as appropriate teenage literature.
For more information about the A.C.E. program, please contact the school.
BETHESDA CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER
Like Bethesda Christian School, Bethesda Child Development Center is a ministry of Bethesda Community Church. BCDC offers before school care, as well as an additional after-school option for families who need childcare longer than the hours available through A.C.E. Families who are interested should contact Bethesda Child Development Center.
