Parental involvement is very important at BCS! Our parent organization, Parents Making the Difference (PmD) functions as a parent service organization, extending and enriching the ministry of BCS.
Involved parents use their special abilities and gifts by serving in various roles listed below. PmD strengthens and enhances the overall school program. In addition, PmD assists the school in fostering closer relationships between BCS families. Our main focus is to serve, support, love and pray for our BCS teachers, faculty and families.

ROOM PARENT COORDINATOR
Coordinates and oversees all room parents for each grade level.
INTERCESSORY PRAYER EMAIL CHAIN
Receives prayer requests of the parent and teacher body of BCS and then intercedes in prayer for those needs.
Promotes and plans activities to carry out teacher/staff appreciation events.
Provides support (i.e., meals) for BCS families and employees during times of crisis.
OTHER AREAS IN WHICH VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED
- Serve as room parents, co-room parents and assistant room parents
- Cook for teacher/staff appreciation luncheons
- Donate items needed for luncheons and other events PmD supports throughout the year
- Volunteer at Sports and Spirit Day lunches for the students
